Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Care Coordinator for a case management/utilization review position requiring prior Dignity/CommonSpirit experience and an active CA RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in an acute care setting within the Care Coordinator unit focused on case management and utilization review
• Day shifts with 8-hour shifts and every other weekend required
• First to float as needed within the facility
• Uses Cerner EMR system with experience preferred
• Responsibilities include care coordination and utilization review within an acute care framework
• Candidates who have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity health systems in the past year are not eligible
• 12 hours of orientation provided upon start
• Must pass a clinical assessment and required modules/testing if applicable for region
• First time travelers will be considered for this assignment
• Scrubs or dress code requirements will be discussed during onboarding

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active CA RN license required; state or compact licensure will be accepted if already active
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in care coordination or case management
• Must have solid prior experience with Dignity/CommonSpirit health systems
• Previous experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
• Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from the past 12 months, and one peer or supervisor reference from the past 3 years
• Copy of driver’s license must be provided for consideration
