To analyze, plan, develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures for systems of worldwide/international import and export operations. Ensure various departments are thoroughly coordinated to efficiently achieve corporate goals related to international freight service. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum Experience: Seven (7) years of related international freight experience. U.S. Customs brokerage license required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Expert-level knowledge of laws and regulations of U.S. Customs Service, FCC, EPA, USDA, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, FDA, and other federal agencies. Ability to interpret harmonized tariff schedules, Title 19, CFR, customs enforcement techniques, and relevant federal decisions/rulings. Ability to exercise diplomacy in regulatory and operational matters involving the corporation, customers, federal agencies, and customs brokers. Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience with customs and regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on minimizing penalty risks.
