Volta US is an electrical engineering consulting firm that serves architects, corporations, developers, and municipalities. Volta US designs electrical and life safety systems for buildings and facilities throughout the Southwest and greater US, specializing in those of high complexity. An opportunity awaits a Revit/AutoCAD Drafter with a great attitude, the ability to learn quickly, and the desire to grow with our design team.

Our growing consulting firm is looking for a Revit Monster who can use Revit (latest) and AutoCAD to transform initial rough designs (redlines) into working documents. The right person for this position will also review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established Revit and CAD design specifications and standards. The position requires ability to operate Revit and AutoCAD at a brisk pace. The position requires accurate work with the individual responsible for back checking their work to ensure accuracy. Training for our specific industry standards will be provided.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: (this is a full-time, hourly position. You will be required to join our team in our Phoenix office)

- You will be executing on detailed projects

- You will be contributing to our team culture

- You will be documenting and developing design processes

- You will be using AutoCAD/Revit, you will be drafting and designing

- You will be collaborating with team and other consultants

- You will be improving the company with your contributions

THINGS YOU HAVE DONE IN THE PAST:

- 2+ years of experience or training of AutoCAD/Revit required.

- Well-organized

- Taken direction and feedback well

- Good communication skills – both verbal and written

- Worked with fast-moving people
