Rare opportunity -- Entry Level role – at a Fortune 100 company! Team Red Dog is looking for a Manual Tester to join our Global Technology client's dynamic product testing team supporting the modernization of consumer identity experiences. In this role, you'll help ensure seamless, high-quality user experiences by executing manual test scripts, running automated tests, and reporting product anomalies before release. Role is remote but currently requiring candidates based within driving distance to Redmond, Washington.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Manual testing and exploratory testing experience – Ability to execute prewritten test scripts and perform build validation to ensure product functionality meets specifications.
  2. Basic technical troubleshooting – Skilled in identifying, reproducing, and reporting product anomalies or bugs during test cycles.
  3. Proficiency with basic productivity tools – Comfortable using word processing and spreadsheet applications to document results and communicate findings.
  4. Familiarity with testing tools such as Fiddler – Experience using debugging or testing utilities to analyze and validate software performance preferred.

How you will make an impact:
• Execute prewritten manual test scripts and document findings.
• Identify, investigate, and report product anomalies and usability issues.
• Participate in bug bashes and exploratory testing sessions.
• Validate builds to confirm functionality aligns with project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with more senior testers and cross-functional team members.
• Run automated test tools as directed and analyze test results.

The expertise you bring:
• Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• General knowledge of personal computers, applications software, and operating systems.
• Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software to log and track test results.
• Strong problem-solving and investigative skills with attention to detail.
• Capacity to learn new systems and information quickly.

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must be based in Redmond, WA, and able to pick up testing devices in person.
