Responsibilities: Manage and develop associates by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and productivity. Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations and improve efficiency. Oversee all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and transportation. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in the warehouse and during transportation. Prepare and present regular reports on logistics operations and performance to senior management. Support LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. Lead by example, adhering to company policies and procedures. Basic Qualifications: Must have at least 14 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience. 5-10 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or engineering discipline with knowledge of inventory control. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain or equivalent experience. Proven accomplishments in operational cost reductions and process improvements. Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain good relationships with clients. Ability to acquire a Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a prerequisite. Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet. Interpersonal skills: ability to foster teamwork and motivate others. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with US defense procurement requirements (FAR/DFAR). Working knowledge of Government Supply Chain Management systems. Familiarity with hazardous materials management. APICS Certified. Costpoint / SAP experience.
