Inside Sales Agent (ISA) Job Description 

Position Title: Inside Sales Agent (ISA) 
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor 
Location: Remote (Work from anywhere in the U.S.) 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (your local time) 
License Required: No (unlicensed agents welcome; licensed agents must join our brokerage) 

 

Position Summary 

As an Inside Sales Agent (ISA), you are the front line of our real estate business. Your primary role is to connect with potential buyers and sellers, qualify their needs, set appointments for our closing agents, and nurture relationships until deals close. 

This is a performance-based role where your income is tied directly to your results. You’ll use proven systems, scripts, and technology to generate appointments and build a pipeline. The more deals that close from your efforts, the more you earn—there’s no income cap. 

 

What You’ll Do Every Day 

Daily Sales Meeting (Zoom) 

  • Review who we’re calling today and why 

  • Collect and organize data for the call session 

  • Role-play scripts with the team 

  • Address questions and challenges 

  • Get motivated and prepared to dial 

9:00 AM–12:00 PM: Calling Session 

  • Use our multi-line dialer to make outbound calls 

  • Connect with prospects who need real estate assistance 

  • Qualify leads using our ABS (Active Buyer/Seller) criteria 

  • Set qualified appointments for our closing agents 

  • Update CRM notes after every conversation 

Your Daily Success Formula: 

  • 50–100 dials during the call block 

  • 10–20 conversations daily 

  • 2–4 qualified appointments per week 

  • 100% CRM accuracy 

 

Training Program (Week 1) 

We don’t expect you to be perfect on Day 1. Your first week is fully supported and focused on training. 

Training Components: 

  • Self-Study: Handbooks, scripts, objection handling, ABS qualification criteria 

  • Training Videos: Dialer use, CRM navigation, questioning, objection handling, appointment setting 

  • Live Shadowing: Observe experienced ISAs on Zoom call sessions 

  • Role-Play Practice: Daily practice during sales meetings (must pass certification) 

  • Supervised Live Calling: Begin calling with real-time feedback by mid-week 

Training Success Criteria: 

  • Pass role-play certification 

  • Demonstrate understanding of scripts & process 

  • Show coachability, effort, and consistent attendance 

 

Performance Expectations 

Non-Negotiables:

✅ Accurate CRM notes—every call, every time 
✅ Be coachable and implement feedback 
✅ Follow proven scripts until mastered

Activity Expectations: 

  • 50 dials per session minimum 

  • 10–20 conversations daily 

  • 2–4 qualified appointments per week 

  • CRM accuracy 

  • Attendance at daily sales meetings 

Performance Goals: 

  • Week 1: Complete training, start making calls 

  • Weeks 2–4: 2–4 appointments per week consistently 

  • Month 2+: 3–5+ appointments per week 

  • Quarter 1: Pipeline of 10–15 active prospects 

If Expectations Aren’t Met: 
We will coach and support you first. If underperformance continues, the contract may be terminated (1099 contractors may end the relationship at any time). 

 

Licensing Requirements 

  • Unlicensed ISAs: No license required; can work from anywhere in the U.S. 

  • Licensed ISAs: Must join our brokerage; additional opportunities may be available.
