Responsibilities:
- Safeguarding patient health information confidentiality.
- Ensuring a safe patient environment and adherence to safety practices.
- Notifying physicians of incomplete medical records and maintaining documentation.
- Administering medical staff guidelines regarding record completion.
- Retrieving and analyzing incomplete medical records.
- Scanning documents into the ChartMaxx system.
- Utilizing ChartMaxx for deficiency analysis and reporting.
- Adhering to daily productivity standards.
- Assisting physicians with record completion issues.
- Completing RLDatix Incident Reports for potential compensable events.
- Conducting record reviews and providing data to supervisors.
- Performing basic eScription1 monitoring functions.
- Operating standard office equipment (photocopiers, fax machines, computers, scanners, telephones).
- Communicating effectively with all ages of customers.
- Abiding by and enforcing compliance requirements and policies.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Knowledge of Windows software.
- 3-5 years of medical record experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience with electronic health record applications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Typing speed of 35 wpm.
- Ability to categorize forms/documents within the medical record.
- Detailed orientation and self-motivation.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and varying work requirements.
- Ability to maintain accuracy despite interruptions.
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment.
- Knowledge of Title 22, CIHQ, Conditions of Participation, Medical Staff Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of physician record completion and HIPAA.

- Onsite position.
- The role requires adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Scheduling:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
