About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the efficient operations and management of a senior living property. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding and promoting the organization's mission, vision, and goals, as well as ensuring compliance with state and local standards and regulations. This role involves assuming administrative authority, recruiting and supervising staff, and maintaining a budget. The Executive Director will also be the primary liaison for community relations, particularly in the areas of aging and dementia, and will be dedicated to continuous quality improvement and the well-being of the residents. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of 2 years in long-term care, and be a licensed administrator as required by the state. The role requires proven leadership and management skills in a healthcare setting, excellent decision-making abilities, and a strong commitment to the rights and dignity of the residents. The Executive Director will be responsible for the property's safety, including OSHA compliance, and must be proactive in responding to changes in the senior and dementia care industries. The position demands a candidate who can effectively communicate the organization's values, drive census, and lead a sales and marketing plan. A spirit of teamwork, a strong work ethic, and the ability to take ownership of the role are essential.
