Salary: $15 per hour

The Dundee Township Park District is looking for dedicated and hardworking Custodians to help maintain our beautiful spaces for everyone to enjoy!

What Youll Do

As a Custodian, youll:

• Ensure facilities are clean and ready for guests by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Set up and take down rooms for classes, programs, and rentals.
• Perform minor building maintenance and light repairs such as changing lightbulbs and painting.
• Support the team by monitoring building safety, securing doors and windows, and reporting any issues.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including shoveling snow and salting sidewalks when needed.
• Represent the Dundee Township Park Districts Mission by creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all.

Who You Are

Youre a proactive team player with:

• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A positive attitude and good communication skills.
• A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• A minimum age of 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cleaning tools and equipment (vacuums, buffers, floor machines) is a plus!

Schedule

Work hours vary:

• Monday Friday between 7:00 PM 11:00 PM or 7:00 PM 12:00 AM
• Saturday & Sunday between 2:00 PM 6:00 PM or 2:00 PM 8:00 PM
• Hours may change based on program needs or after-hours rentals.
