About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead and enhance its risk, compliance, information security, BSA, and CRA programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance of risks, the development and monitoring of the Enterprise Risk Management Program, and ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of risk management practices. This role involves partnering with the business leadership team to identify and address relevant risks, implementing risk reporting to senior management and the board, and developing a comprehensive risk management framework aligned with business strategy and regulatory requirements. The CRO will also oversee compliance with consumer protection laws, BSA requirements, and maintain robust information security policies to protect customer data. Applicants for the CRO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in banking risk and compliance, with a focus on consumer and community banking.
